Puppy Proof First

Puppy proof your house before bringing home your Berner. Shoes, socks and other items should never be left lying around for your puppy to chew on. If a puppy chews on something left lying around, it is your fault and not the puppy's!

Crate Training

We strongly recommend crate training as the easiest, most effective method of housebreaking your puppy.

We are always available for our puppy and dog owners if you have questions on any issue or need advice of any sort throughout the lifetime of your dog and beyond. We really care what happens to our puppies as they grow up and encourage our owners to keep in touch with us throughout the dog's lifetime.

We occasionally have older puppies or dogs available for adoption. Please check with us if you are interested in adopting an older Berner.

DANTE

Dante is a 3 year old neutered male Berner that needed a new home and was lucky enough to find a great one with Bart in Rumney, NH on a farm where he can get plenty of exercise and play time. Dante is now the "Prince of Rumney" and below is a picture of Bart and Dante together.

Azor is a beautiful one year old male who recently came back to us. He also found a wonderful new home in New Hampshire with friends of Dante's owners.

Keep Safety in Mind with Puppy Toys & Treats

Puppy toys and treats should be safe and not contain squeakers or small parts that could catch in the throat. Puppies need to chew things while they teeth and can chew things up more quickly than expected, so you should always supervise your puppy while it plays with anything that is not edible.

Although several companies make great relatively safe chew toys (such as Nylabone and Booda), there is always the one puppy or dog that will "eat" the supposedly indestructable toy.
