Finally, a powerful aid is available to your dog's joints! Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid or HA) has been used with significant success in the treatment of painful knee and joint problems for many years. Until recently it was only available by injection. With a recent technological breakthrough, H.A. is now available in ORAL form for both dogs and cats. Lube-All Plus contains Sodium Hyaluronate, plus MSM, Glucosamine and Chondroitin Sulfate for the most difficult cases.
Hyaluronic acid is a component of synovial fluid, and is found in the synovia of joints, and in subcutaneous tissue where it functions as a cementing agent. Hyaluronic acid is a glycosaminoglycan with anti-inflammatory and anti-edema properties. In osteoarthritis, changes occur in the hyaluronic acid found in cartilage leading to degradation of the cartilage.
K9 Lube-All Plus dosage information: Less than 75 pounds, take 2.5ml or 1/2 tsp per day; 100-200 pounds, take 5ml or 1 tsp per day. Just put on top of food.
