Prior to Application – Vacuum floors, carpets, upholstery, pet bedding – anywhere fleas live and breed. A few moth balls in the bag will kill most of the fleas in the bag. Throw out the bag.
Application Method – Generously sprinkle First Defense over all the surfaces (about 1 lb per 1,000 square feet) and use a broom to work the granules well into floor coverings, upholstery, under furniture cushions and in floor and baseboard crevices. Use a damp mop or cloth to remove any visible granules on hard surfaces right after application. Vacuum all surfaces after a week. Enjoy a flea-free home for a full year.
