Highly effective PPP Flea & Tick Shampoo with Resmethrin can be used with other flea and tick control treatments. Gentle, non-alkaline formula is biodegradable. Flea & Tick Shampoo is safe for puppies and kittens over 12 weeks old. 12 oz can be diluted 12:1.
Ingredient: Resmethrin Cyclopropanecarboxlate .25%
Do not use on puppies, kittens or ferrets under 12 weeks. High insect mortality. Low mammalian toxicity. No petroleum distillates. Water-soluble insecticide, completely biodegradable. Gentle, non alkaline formula. Do not reapply for 3 days.
The manufacturer says it is advantageous to dilute the shampoo to get it to spread through and lather the coat better. It can be used as it comes out of the bottle, or diluted up to 12:1. Also, the percentage of insecticide is higher than most other flea/tick shampoos, so diluting does not weaken the effectiveness. This shampoo has extremely high flea mortality. It contains Resmethrin, the most effective, safest, water soluble insecticide. It may be used in conjunction with Proban. This shampoo is gentle, non-alkaline, and completely biodegradable.
